HIDING CAMP AND MONUMENTS

The former camp for persons in hiding, the "Hidden Village", with reconstructed huts and a monument, can be found at the Pas-Opweg (dead end for cars and motor vehicles). From the village of Vierhouten the camp is directed with yellow signs "Verscholen Dorp".

From the village follow the Tongerenseweg. On the way to the Hidden Village you pass the monument which marks the area where 8 Jews from the Hidden Village where shot and died.

Just over the forrester house "Pas-Op" turn right. Follow the road and it will lead you to the Hidden Village. You can also park here.

MUSEUM "HET VERSCHOLEN DORP" ("THE HIDDEN VILLAGE")

The museum "The Hidden Village", adress Nunspeterweg 1 in the center of the village Vierhouten is temporarily closed, because of a movement. We hope to re-open the museum quickly after the movement is done, with expanded opening times.

TO OUR NON-DUTCH SPEAKING VISITORS

We are trying to translate the whole website in English. This will take a while but after that also our English speaking guest will be able to read all information. English is not my native language so excuse me for possible errors and gramatically wrong sentences.
